These sculptures are made following a very ancient molding technique, the same that the Romans used to make plaster copies. After creating a clay model, an initial plaster molding is applied, reinforced with galvanized iron wire which will later be destroyed and from which a plaster or resin sculpture will be obtained. If it is necessary to obtain several duplicates of the same sculpture, a form with blocks or silicone rubber is created, on which different layers of resin and glass fiber or gypsum and agave fiber will be applied, until reaching the thickness of 3-4 cm. Finally, on the sculpture, it is possible to create a patination with an acrylic color base and an oil finish.
